Bishop, Methodist Episcopal Church, South. Granberry, a native of Norfolk, Va., was an itinerant preacher and a chaplain at the University of Virginia in 1861. During the Civil War he served as chaplain to several regiments in Pickett's division. In 1882 he was elected Bishop and appointed to the Vanderbilt University Board of Trustees.
